Our Mission & Vision

The Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad is a constituent laboratory of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). IICT conducts research in basic and applied chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, and materials science.

Our mission is to provide innovative chemical technology solutions to address national needs in the areas of agriculture, pharmaceuticals, energy, and environmental sustainability. We collaborate with industries, academic institutions, and international organizations to translate research into practical applications.

Located in the heart of Hyderabad's scientific corridor, IICT houses state-of-the-art instrumentation facilities, pilot plants, and a highly skilled workforce of over 850 scientists, technical staff, and research students.
